Why Students Struggle With AddMaths — and How Mr Dass Fixes It
Mr Dass has spent decades teaching Additional Mathematics. He has seen every mistake a Form 4 student makes when they first encounter calculus and vectors. He knows exactly which misconceptions cause students to lose marks, and he knows precisely how to address them — step by step, with no shortcuts.
AddMaths is not hard because the mathematics itself is impossible. It is hard because most students are taught procedures without understanding. Mr Dass teaches understanding first — once you see why a method works, you never forget it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Maths and AddMaths?
SPM Mathematics (Matematik) is compulsory for all Form 1–5 students. SPM Additional Mathematics (Matematik Tambahan) is an advanced elective for Form 4 and Form 5 students targeting STEM pathways. AddMaths covers calculus, vectors, and advanced algebra not found in core Maths.
When should my child start AddMaths tuition?
Ideally at the start of Form 4, when AddMaths is introduced. The foundation built in the first term determines how the next two years go. Students who join in Form 5 can still recover significantly with Mr Dass's targeted exam strategies.
Does Mr Dass teach AddMaths online?
Yes. Wednesday evening sessions for Form 4 & 5 are online. Saturday morning classes are physical. Contact Mr Dass to confirm current availability.
How many students are in each class?
Group classes have a small number of students — Mr Dass keeps classes tight so every student gets attention. The Saturday Premium Maths class is capped at 5 students for maximum impact.
